Spinning 45 Ballerina
oh what total whinejournal that last entry was. yukk. what ells? well I'm 22 now, cause i had a birthday you see, and... I think maybe, hopefully I've finished my 'waist of space'-bachelor. but anyway did anyone see Across the Universe? I need to wright down how totally crap I think it to bee, it was offensively banal, every single recording in it was useless and it didn't at all feel like the Beatles.|
Prudence and Jude parts where just so incredible unimaginative. they where just there to be sad at some point of the story so that the rest of the cast can sing to them to make them feel better, in fact, the whole movie seemed to be made in order for Jude to 'make it bad'. 'oh poor Jude... what to do? what to sing!'
Vietnam, USA, university, LSD (LBJ), "the draft", race, rock, peace activism, peace activisms violent revolutionarys, dr king... it's almost exactly like Hair but mashed with that movie 'the 60s'. I've seen this shit a gazillion times before (be it never anything this sentimental). seems that everything thats placed in the 1960s has to be total 'nostalgia for a time that never existed' and who wants it to have been that way anywhos? (and fucking Bono. argh!)
now I'm going home to make me myself and Marianne some cod dinner. (long hard days, (lets fill them with beer.))
