I bought the Bauhaus ticked just now, got the hotel booked and everything, god willing, this is going to happen. oMg! Well it got me thinking. I'm a total retro kid, and most of the other retro kids i talk to are always talking about how they wish they where born in an other time. They’ll say: "oh i wish i was 16 in 77, I'd go se junkie Bowie and the Sex Pistols" or what evah. I've never felt that way, and you know what? I've seen most of my favorite bands live buy now. Went to an Einstüerzende Neubauten gig a couple of years ago and they where still the best fucking thing you’ll ever see. I've seen Bowie (not to the best show ever, but still him!). After the Nick Cave concert he even hugged me, and when Morrissey does shows he even plays old Smiths songs, so who needs those other guys? Why would anyone sit and complain about never getting to see Marr when Morrissey is still touring? The Stooges are back, and Iggy Pop is an explosion as always. I've seen them once, and this summer there coming to my town. If had more money I also would have seen New Order and Roxy Music by now. If the Banshees ever tour again I’ll be there, and surely they will. I really think that this show is going to be every bit as good as the once of the past. If I ever get the chance I’ll go see Nina Hagen, and then I will probably feel complete :D
